Public Comment Period Begins for HITSP Documents

The Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) announces the opening of a public comment period for the following HITSP documents:

• HITSP/RDSS56 – HITSP Remote Monitoring Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection


• HITSP/RDSS57 – HITSP Patient-Provider Secure Messaging Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection


• HITSP/RDSS58 – HITSP Personalized Health Care Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection


• HITSP/RDSS59 – HITSP Consultation and Transfers of Care Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection


• HITSP/RDSS60 – HITSP Immunizations and Response Management Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection


• HITSP/RDSS61 – HITSP Public Health Case Reporting Use Case Requirements, Design and Standards Selection

The public comment period will be open from Friday June 27th until Close of Business, Friday, July 25th. HITSP members and public stakeholders are encouraged to review these documents and provide comments through the HITSP comment tracking system. The documents and the HITSP comment tracking system are accessible through http://www.hitsp.org/ by clicking on the “Public Review and Comment” link on the right side of the screen.

All Panel and public comments received on these documents will be reviewed and dispositioned by the HITSP Technical Committees. Comments will be considered in the preparation of the Interoperability Specifications and associated constructs.
