IHE USA Volunteers Gain Real-world IHE Experience!
IHE USA is looking for volunteer monitors to verify testing at the IHE NA Connectathon 2014, January 27 - 31, 2014, in downtown Chicago. Monitors use their skills and expertise to review interoperability tests performed by participating organizations at the North American Connectathon. As a monitor, you will examine evidence presented by participants and assign a pass/fail grade for each test.

· Opportunity to work directly with software engineers from the industry's top vendors.
· Gain deeper understanding about IHE Integration Profiles and how to implement IHE profiles.
· Gain hands-on experience and training for IHE software test tools.
· Explore opportunities for collaboration with vendors and HIEs in attendance
· Monitors receive travel, accommodations, and a daily per Diem for their participation (Note: IHE USA will not support international travel outside the U.S. and Canada.)
General Requirements of Participation:
· Must be available for the full week of the NA Connectathon 2014

· Monitors may NOT be employed by a participating vendor, nor be under contract to provide consulting or any other services to a participating vendor
· Completion of Conflict of Interest form
· Completion of Non-Disclosure agreement
· Applicants must have appropriate technical background in one of the 9 healthcare IT areas listed:
o IT Infrastructure
o Clinical Documents (HL7 CDA)
o Radiology and/or Cardiology departmental workflow
o Laboratory and/or Pharmacy
o Patient Care Devices
o Patient Care Coordination & Quality, Research, and Public Health
o IT Infrastructure
