Call for Proposals in the IHE Pharmacy domain

IHE Members and interested parties,

We wanted to let you know about a call for proposals and would invite new proposals for IHE Pharmacy:

Interested parties are invited to submit proposals for new Work items in IHE Pharmacy. Proposals will be considered for development in the 2011-2012 development cycle of the IHE Pharmacy Domain and are due by Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

Proposals should follow the Brief Proposal Template found at ftp://ftp.ihe.net/Document_templates/IHE_Profile_Proposal_Template-Brief.docx. Note that the template is also available as a Wiki page at http://wiki.ihe.net/index.php?title=Brief_Proposal_Template.

Email the completed brief IHE Proposal template to the corresponding domain email address below before Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:59pm CET (Paris/Brussels time)

The critical questions the proposal should address are:

• What is the problem and how does it affect clinical practice (use case)?
• How should things look in practice if it were fixed?
• What specific pieces of standards could be used to solve the problem?

It is strongly recommended that the proposal include the name of a candidate editor for the profile.  If possible, also give some indication of the business case for solving the problem.

An IHE Pharmacy TCon will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 16:00-17:00 CET (Paris/Brussels time) to review proposals submitted. All interested parties are invited to take part in the discussion.
